中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展創(chuàng)辦于2003年，是中華人民共和國(guó)文化部批準(zhǔn)的文化交流項(xiàng)目。雙年展依托國(guó)際知名藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)教育機(jī)構(gòu)——中國(guó)美術(shù)學(xué)院作為學(xué)術(shù)與平臺(tái)支持，每逢奇數(shù)年舉辦，已成功舉辦七屆，是目前中國(guó)唯一舉辦的海報(bào)雙年展，也是國(guó)際平面設(shè)計(jì)領(lǐng)域?qū)W術(shù)水平最高的海報(bào)展覽之一。

2017年第八屆中國(guó)國(guó)際海報(bào)雙年展以“海報(bào)共生”為主題，將邀請(qǐng)來(lái)自世界各地的100余位設(shè)計(jì)師的海報(bào)作品參加此次活動(dòng)。作品涉及文化與藝術(shù)、商業(yè)與市場(chǎng)、人類生存與自我主張等各個(gè)領(lǐng)域。本屆雙年展活動(dòng)不設(shè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)評(píng)選，屆時(shí)將同期舉辦設(shè)計(jì)交流和與對(duì)話活動(dòng)。

項(xiàng)目：“海報(bào)共生”邀請(qǐng)展
海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)發(fā)展到今天，設(shè)計(jì)語(yǔ)境的多元化和技術(shù)媒介的革新為海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)的進(jìn)化增添了前所未有的可能性。一方面，我們相信堅(jiān)守傳統(tǒng)海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)中所蘊(yùn)含的設(shè)計(jì)語(yǔ)言與信息表達(dá)變得愈發(fā)重要；另一方面，我們也希望通過(guò)更新設(shè)計(jì)手段和設(shè)計(jì)思維積極地回應(yīng)全球設(shè)計(jì)發(fā)展的趨勢(shì)。因此，“海報(bào)共生”不僅是不同地域和文化間的對(duì)話，傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代的激撞，更是定位當(dāng)下的坐標(biāo)，積極的探索和驅(qū)動(dòng)海報(bào)設(shè)計(jì)的未來(lái)。

2017 the 8th China International Poster Biennial

Established in 2003, China International Poster Biennial Expo (CIPB) is a cultural exchange program authorized by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China. With the academic and platform support from China Academy of Art, the world renowned education institution for art and design, CIPB has been held for 7 times in each odd-number year since its establishment. It is the only biennial expo of posters in China and is one of the international graphic design exhibitions with the highest academic standard.

Themed by “Posters Living with Difference”, the 8th CIPB in 2017 will exhibit the works of more than 100 designers invited from all over the world. The works cover multiple fields including culture and art, business and market, human existence and assertions, etc. Instead of selection for awards, the 8th CIPB will be joined by design communication and dialogue activities.

Nowadays, the diversification of design context and the innovation of technologies have enriched the possibilities of poster design to an unprecedented extent. For one thing, we believe that it is becoming increasingly important to stick with the design language and information expression in traditional posters. For another, we do hope that updating design techniques and thinking may allow us to respond positively to the world’s developing trend of designing art. Therefore, “Posters Living with Difference” is not only a dialogue among different regions and cultures and a collision between tradition and modernity, but also a reminder of where we are, enabling us to better explore and drive the development of poster design.
